Krush is considered one of the style’s pioneers, bring in the industry for over 20 years. Krush’s musical journey started after watching the film ‘Wild Style’ in the 80s, which inspired him to acquire a set of turntables and learn the subtle art of turntablism.
Since releasing his debut album in 1994, Krush has released eight solo albums resulting in deluge of chart success and award nods. Krush has also released several compilations well as producing countless recordings all over the globe. His experimental beats and instrumental sounds changed the face of hip-hop during a time that was dominated by the American rap scene, as well prevailing as one of the first hip hop artists in Japan.
