Niche Productions, The Operatives and foreigndub are proud to present the return of the dynamic DJ Marky along with Stamina MC, hitting the Manning Bar on Friday 21 January 2011.
A regular favourite among Australian audiences, the mild-mannered Brazilian first popped up on the global radar in the mid to late 90s, just as the Jungle scene was starting to take a proper foothold in clubland. Now, after years of touring the globe annually, DJ Marky is one of the most revered and coveted DJs on the planet, headlining the main electronic stage at this year’s Days Like This! festival.
Through his DJ Marky & Friends venture, Marky has secured residences all over the world including in London, Paris, Tokyo and Sao Paulo. Dropping countless releases through various formats over the years, Marky has also remixed the likes of Fatboy Slim and Deadmau5.
A regular collaborator with DJ Marky, Stamina MC brings the live vocals to complete the intencity that is a DJ Marky stage show. A multi-talented natural performer, effortlessly combining the roles of vocalist, host and MC with a massive stage-presence, Stamina’s well earned reputation speaks for itself.
A touring veteran in his own right as well, Stamina takes to the mic regularly with Marky, as well as DJ Fu and Jungle Drummer to name a few. Stamina also represents on London’s Rinse FM with a weekly show.
Together DJ Marky and Stamina MC bring their big personalities for an energetic live show, sure to get the whole crowd busting out their best DnB dance moves.
