You won’t believe your eyes! You’ll think your ears are playing tricks on you! Your feet better not fail you now! OAF Touring and Niche Productions present the all audio, all visual feast for the senses that is the UK’s DJ Yoda and our very own Sampology returning in concert together!
Applying his ridiculously astute ear for mixing and blending 12” accapellas on top of seemingly disparate genres, DJ Yoda quickly joined the ranks of genre-bending DJs like Z-Trip and 2manyDJs who both technically and creatively transformed the landscape of club culture with their ferocious mixing style that eventually became known as ‘mashup.’ Moving away from just the music side of things, Yoda began to incorporate visuals into his set until he came up with what is now, no doubt the most fully realised vision of what club music and the greatest collection of cult footage could be. Think Count and Sinden’s ‘Beeper’ vs ‘The Big Lebowski’’s beeper and you’re not even close.
Sampology is a DJ, AVDJ and Producer who has remixed for Pnau, toured internationally with Australian theatre company Strut n Fret and been rocking on stage like the Big Day Out with bands and solo since the tender age of seventeen. His Super Visual series of AVDJ tours including the ‘Super Visual Disco Party’; 'Super Visual Smackdown' and ‘Super Visual Monster Mash’ have sold out across the country and wowed audiences at SXSW, UK's Big Chill Festival and the Berlin Music Festival. He is so good he will make your eyes pop out of your head like the guy from ‘Total Recall’ and make you dance better than Kid n Play in ‘House Party.’
