Niche Productions is proud to present the invigorating Fat Freddys Drop, playing Queensland shows this July/August. Hitting Sydney and Melbourne at the end of last year, the Freddys will be conquering some new territories up North with this whirlwind tour.
Aiming to get Queensland booties shaking, the Freddys are excited to be making waves in Cairns at the Tanks Art Centre, before heading down the coast to Woodford for their debut Splendour In The Grass jaunt and finally rounding out their trio of dates on the Gold Coast at the Coolangatta Hotel.
Releasing their sophomore long player ‘Dr. Boondigga and the Big BW’ last year, Fat Freddys Drop are one of New Zealand’s finest exports, taking the world by storm with their soulful grooves and beats.
The Freddys will be hitting Queensland’s fair shores in the midst of some major globe-trotting action, kicking off with a New Zealand tour in June, the West Coast of the USA and Hawaii in July and then over to Europe in August to round out the Northern Hemisphere’s summer.
As well as circumnavigating the globe, Fat Freddys Drop are gearing up to release a brand new live record next month, “Fat Freddy's Drop Live at Roundhouse” recorded at their favourite London venue.
