Fresh from a tour of the UK and Europe, Australia braces itself for the impact that only a Shapeshifter tour can bring!
These will be their first outings after being holed up recording studio album number four, which they will be previewing along with the classic material that has made them essential food for die-hard DnB fans but also a mainstay on the Australian live music circuit.
Last year’s shows sold out across the country and earned them a swag of new fans. Speaking of new fans, their live album last year showed us just how great arrangements, powerful song writing, razor-sharp performances and killer engineering can make a live album really work.
Shapeshifter’s current studio album Soulstice has a star lineup featuring Shapeshifter’s artistic talents and features vocals from some of New Zealand’s finest. It was released in the UK in December 2008 as a deluxe edition with remixes by D-Bridge (Exit Records), Hospital's soulful star Nu:Tone, The Upbeats and The Nextmen. Music Week described the album as “A Treat For drum and bass addicts requiring emotional substance.”
